Hey there! My name is Jonathan, and welcome to my page!

Growing up near the peaceful waters of Reelfoot Lake, Tennessee, I found my love for nature long before I ever picked up a camera. Some of my earliest memories are of watching the sun slowly disappear beyond the cypress trees, painting the lake in shades of gold, orange, and crimson. The quiet beauty of those evenings, the croaking of the frogs echoing across the water, and the calm stillness of nature became a part of who I am. Reelfoot Lake taught me to slow down, appreciate the world around me, and find beauty in the smallest moments.

As I got older, my passion for adventure led me far beyond the lake shores and into the mountains and wilderness that would forever shape my journey as a photographer. From hiking through the rugged landscapes of the Ozarks to exploring the breathtaking beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains, I discovered a deeper connection to nature with every trail I traveled. 

The Ozarks introduced me to hidden waterfalls, winding rivers, towering bluffs, and endless backroads waiting to be explored. There was something unforgettable about standing in complete silence deep within the forest, surrounded only by the sounds of rushing water and wind moving through the trees. Every adventure felt like discovering a secret part of the world untouched by time.

The Great Smoky Mountains became more than just a destination — they became a place of inspiration and peace. I spent countless mornings chasing the sunrise as the first light spilled across the mountain ridges and fog-filled valleys. I found myself drawn to the serenity of cascading waterfalls, crystal-clear mountain streams, and the incredible wildlife that call the Smokies home. From black bears wandering through the woods to delicate wildflowers blooming along the trails, every moment felt like a reminder of nature’s raw beauty and wonder.

Photography became my way of preserving those experiences and sharing the emotions they carried. What started as a passion during my travels quickly turned into a lifelong pursuit of capturing authentic moments, stunning landscapes, and the untamed beauty of the outdoors. Through every image, I strive to tell a story — one filled with adventure, emotion, peace, and appreciation for the natural world.

Today, my work is inspired by the places that shaped me: the sunsets over Reelfoot Lake, the rugged wilderness of the Ozarks, and the unforgettable beauty of the Smoky Mountains.
